Felix

This is a short and simple poem but it was quite a nice relaxing one to write.  I don't remember quite when I wrote it but I do remember each line just coming to me, one after the other. I hope you like it.

Felix

When I was young I had a pet,

And Felix was his name,

I loved him loads but sadly he,

Kept bursting into flame,

He'd always rise again but he,

Was never quite the same,

And when he burnt my bedroom down,

'Twas me who got the blame,

Phoenixes are rubbish pets,

It's really such a shame.
