This is one of my favourite poems for no obvious reason. It's short, perfect and one of those which is a more of a discovery than a creation. I've tried to write a second verse many times (iguanas going bananas) but they're never as good as the first verse so they never make the cut. It will forever remain the single greatest accomplishment of my life, no matter what else I go on to do or achieve.
Spiders and flies
Spiders are really good hiders,
But flies have really good eyes,
So spiders lay traps,
Hoping perhaps,
To catch the flies by surprise.
